Sometimes when I am doing something, a thought crosses my mind and I remember.
Impenetrable Fortress
As we peer ahead into the future of this year, trying to separate the worries from the truth from the fiction, I caution you - do not be afraid of your special delivery because of the package it arrives in.
I haven’t posted on here in a while bc it was beginning to lose it’s purpose for me. It was starting to become a chore and that is the one thing that I hope for my art, whatever it is, not to be.
I have always been taught that you can do anything for a short amount of time. You can stand physical pain, grief, ugly days, exhausting work, terrible treatment... ANYTHING for a while. Trouble don’t last always.
This, I feel represents my life right now. A wide, neutral expanse with a foreshadowing label. A window to the soul, showcasing the intricate inner-workings, bold and colorful and carefully crafted. A portrait, caught unaware? Staged? Looking to celebrate but also, maybe unsure.
